Prince Wang

Ruiqin “Prince” Wang, 16, is a violist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist studying with Gina and Paul Coletti. He has earned an ASTA Honorable Mention, performed at Carnegie Hall, and played with Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings and the Colburn Youth Orchestra. In 2024, he performed for former U.S. President George W. Bush and Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi at a Nixon Foundation event.

As Youth Ambassador of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, he co-founded the Strings of Spring Youth Chamber Ensemble, performing regularly in community spaces. As a composer, he wrote Road to Nobility, recorded at Fox Studios under Jeff Kryka; participated in the LA Young Composers Program; conducted sessions at the Warner Bros. Eastman Scoring Stage; contributed to Eros Zhao’s documentary work; and served as copyist for Paul Coletti.
