Andy Rochmol is a 10-year-old pianist and composer whose musical journey began before he could fully read or write. He started exploring music at age 2, made his stage debut as a drummer at 3, and quickly developed a love for piano and composition. At just 5 years old, Andy composed his first original piece, Papá Cielo, inspired by his desire to comfort his father. This early experience ignited a deep connection with music that continues to guide his path.

In 2023, Andy discovered classical music and joined the Orquesta Juvenil Centinela, where his talent flourished. He made his solo debut in May 2024 performing Mozart’s Sonata No. 16, and later performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 with the Orquesta Clásica de las Américas (OCAM). In September 2024, he was invited by the SIMAN Orchestral Foundation to perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21, joined by members of the Orlando Youth Orchestra and the Orlando Philharmonic in a remarkable binational collaboration.

That same summer, Andy composed his first original string quartet, written across treble, bass, and alto clefs—a challenge he took on independently. The piece was recorded in Mexico City by top musicians from Bellas Artes, showcasing a mature musical vision well beyond his years.

His work with SIMANOF also led to a featured live violin-piano duet performance on Univision Miami, and a segment on Lo Mejor de Noticias Univision de la Mañana that introduced his story to a broader audience.

Beyond classical music, Andy is equally at home in jazz and pop. He has recorded standards like Autumn Leaves and Take Five alongside professional musicians, and has delighted audiences with jazzed-up renditions of I Got Rhythm, Tristeza (Oscar Peterson), and A Hard Day’s Night by The Beatles at events such as NAMM.

In December 2025, Andy will reach a new milestone: the world premiere of his first original symphony in New York City. This eagerly anticipated debut marks his transition from chamber music to full orchestral writing, and reflects his evolving musical identity as a young composer. With this premiere, Andy aims to share not only his growth as a musician, but also a message of unity and inspiration for young artists across the world.

Andy continues to compose, perform, and study with a clear mission: to share joy, curiosity, and connection through music. Whether interpreting Mozart, composing original works, or improvising jazz, he reminds us that talent has no age—and that music is a bridge between generations, cultures, and hearts.
