I have been playing the cello for eight years, and it has become one of the most important parts of my life. I currently study under Professor Thomas Landschoot, who has helped me grow both technically and musically. I am currently the principal cellist of Perry High School’s highest orchestra, where I enjoy leading my section and collaborating and bonding with the other students. I won 1st place in the Arizona Cello Society Competition 2025 and performed in the Southwest Regional Orchestra, both of which were incredible opportunities that strengthened my passion for cello playing. I truly love the cello, not only for the challenges it offers, but for the joy of expressing myself through music and sharing it with others.
