Ryan Kim is an eighth grader at Miller Middle School who began studying the cello at age eight. He has been a member of the Golden State Youth Orchestra for the past four years and was named Grand Prize Winner of the 2025 IYPAC competition in the 15 & Under division.
Ryan enjoys sharing music with the community and has volunteered with Hopebox, a Silicon Valley–based charity organization that brings music to local audiences. He also performs with Sky Ensemble.
Outside of music, Ryan enjoys reading, swimming, and hiking in nature.
