Ryan Prentice, 16, is a rising junior at Wellesley High School and has been playing the cello for ten years under the guidance of his teacher, Mr. Ronald Lowry. Ryan has performed with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and the MMEA Eastern District Senior Festival as the assistant principal cellist. As a pianist, Ryan won first place in MMTA Bay State Competitions in 2024 and 2025, and third place in the NEPTA Ruth Davidson Competition. Outside of music, he enjoys playing badminton with his friends and competing in Academic Decathlon.
