My name is Scarlett. I will be a proud Year 6 girl in 2025. I started piano when I was turning 5 years old, while I started harp when I was 8. I love playing instruments for people. Whether performing for my close friends, family, or complete strangers, seeing the smiles on their faces is what is worth the hours of practice. As a regular busker, my goal is not fame, but rather the opportunity to evoke joy. A single smile from someone in the crowd can ignite a chain reaction, as smiles are contagious. This is proven because once I played the piano at a nursing home called Kari Court to hopefully light up the day of the residents. When we went in, we were greeted by frowns which turned into smiles by the end of the session.
