Shiv Sitaram

Shiv Sitaram is an 9th grade student at Stanford Online High School and an aspiring musician. He is a student of Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Pre-College Division, where he studies music theory, guitar ensemble, and chamber music in a guitar quartet. Shiv started learning the guitar at the age of six with Bruno Panunzio. He enjoys performing compositions by renowned artists such as Francisco Tárrega, Leo Brouwer, and Antonio Lauro. He frequently performs in recitals and in informal performances as a volunteer at local senior citizen assisted living centers and other health care centers. He is a prize winner in the Art of Strings competition and ENKOR Int’ Music Competition and was a semifinalist at the 2025 Philadelphia Classical Guitar Competition. He has performed at the Weill Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall and at the Junior Bach Festival. He has participated in several master classes at the South Bay Guitar Society.
