Sidney Belcher is an aspiring oboist, currently attending The University of North Carolina School of the Arts high school program. As a passionate, orchestral musician, Sidney is principal oboe with the Winston-Salem Youth Orchestra and has been awarded principal position with the North Carolina All State Orchestra. In 2024, she attended the Philadelphia International Music Festival and was a finalist in their concerto competition. She has had the opportunity to study with numerous professional oboists and currently studies with Dr. Rachel Messing. Sidney plans to continue her musical journey by pursuing a performance degree in college.
