
Sofia began playing piano at the age of five at the International School of Music in Bethesda, MD. In 2017, she joined the Levine School of Music in Washington, DC, where she studies classical piano with Ms. Natalie Ormsby. Sofia participates in Levine’s Horowitz Performance Classes, receiving advanced instruction and performance critique. She consistently earns Merit in Certificate Jury evaluations and is on track to complete Levine’s piano curriculum.
Sofia is passionate about connecting with others through music and enjoys performing at local events and senior living communities. Her recent accomplishments include Third Prize in the Charleston International 2025 Classical and 2025 Winter Music Competitions, Third Place in the 2025 American Protégé International Music Talent Competition, and Finalist recognition at the inaugural Young Musicians Piano Solo Competition at Howard Community College in March 2025.
