Sophie Girgis is a 10-year-old pianist whose love for music began at the age of six. She started her piano studies under the guidance of Elena Ayanyan, quickly developing a natural musicality, strong technique, and a deep enthusiasm for performing.
Over the past several years, Sophie has participated in numerous recitals, sharing her music with both small and large audiences. Her first official performance took place on October 25, 2025, at the Montgomery County Music Elementary Recital, Magic Autumn, marking an exciting milestone in her young musical journey.
In addition to piano, Sophie also plays the violin, broadening her musical skills and expanding her artistic expression.
This year, Sophie is thrilled to take part in her first competition with the Charleston International Music Competition. She is excited for the opportunity to grow, learn, and share her music with an even wider audience as she continues to follow her passion for the arts.
