
Steven Chen has been playing the piano since he was five years old. Later at school, he picked up the saxophone and joined the school band. Steven enjoys all kinds of music genres. He has played in the California All-State Jazz Honor Band as well as the California All-Southern Jazz Honor Band. His talent in classical and jazz music has allowed him to perform in venues ranging from the Carmel Valley Library in San Diego to Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition, Steven also sings with the San Diego Children’s Choir where they performed in the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna, Austria.
In his spare time, Steven practices Tae Kwon Do and currently is a 3rd degree black belt. Steven loves helping people and aspires to provide others with the joy and excitement of learning something new.
