Sunny Cui, 17, is a violinist from New Jersey. She started playing violin at the age of 8. This year, she won 3rd Place at Camerata Artists International Competition. She attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in the summer of 2025, where she further refined her musicianship both as a soloist and as an ensemble musician. She has been a violinist in the Central Jersey Music Education Association (Regional) Orchestra and the New Jersey Music Education Association (All-State) Orchestra since middle school, and she actively performs in the highest-level orchestra at her school. Beyond music, she is also extremely passionate about baking, astrophysics, classics, golf, and community-centered initiatives.
