Sydnee Yeh

Sydnee Yeh

I’m a high school junior with a strong background in string performance. I began studying music in elementary school, first learning the cello before transitioning to the double bass, and have consistently served as principal bassist in school from elementary school through high school.

In 2025, I was accepted into the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra (PSYO), where I continue to develop my technique and ensemble skills through advanced orchestral performance.

During high school, influenced by rock music, I began teaching myself electric bass and developed an interest in drum set and keyboard, exploring how rhythm and harmony function across different musical settings.

I am committed to growing as a versatile musician while contributing thoughtfully to every ensemble I am part of.

Watch Sydnee Yeh perform Sonata in G Minor by Henry Eccles on the double bass for the 2025 Finale Music Competition as part of the Charleston International Music Competition.
