
Theodore Flake is a classical saxophonist known for his distinctive tone and bold expression. Currently based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Flake is a senior at Fossil Ridge High School and an alumnus of Interlochen Arts Camp and Saxophone Intensive, MPulse Saxophone Institute, and Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy where he studied under renowned pedagogues including Timothy McAllister and Nobuya Sugawa. He currently studies under Dr. Nathan Mertens at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Over the course of his young career, Flake has performed with various ensembles across Colorado and the United States, including the Pikes Peak Philharmonic and the Greeley Chamber Orchestra. He continues to push the boundaries of what young artists can do through both his solo projects and community-driven music initiatives
