Tien-Lung Tou, known as Lawrence Tou, is currently a sixth grader violinist of the Advanced String Orchestra at Raymond J. Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos, California. As a violinist, he is also an active member in the San Jose Youth Symphony Orchestra. Lawrence started learning violin at age five, and he has constantly played in many music concerts, festivals, and city halls in California. Recently, he took ABRSM grade five and passed with distinction. Apart from being a young musician, he also showed his interest and talent in math. He won the Silver Medal in World Math Olympiads 2024 and National Honor Roll in Noetic Math Contest 2023/2024. In his next stage, Lawrence will participate in badminton tournaments and aim for the podium, as he always does as an enthusiastic musician and mathematician.
