Timur Aytac, a young pianist from Morgantown, West Virginia, has spent the past four years studying under the guidance of instructor Natasha Liston, shaping a musical voice defined by sensitivity, curiosity, and emotional depth.
In all this time, he has shown remarkable dedication and artistic growth, performing eight times at the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts as part of the West Virginia Music Teachers Association events.
His deep love for classical music and his natural emotional expressiveness continue to shape his developing musical voice.
The Charleston International Piano Competition is his first competitive appearance, marking an exciting step in his musical journey.
Outside of music, Timur is equally passionate and accomplished. He is a skilled cook. Timur has twice earned first place at the ProStart West Virginia HEAT Invitational Competition, winning in both management and culinary categories. His life is a blend of artistry and athleticism: he is a Varsity lacrosse player, an avid rock climber, a devoted reader, and a snowboarder who finds inspiration in movement and the outdoors.
