Valarie is going to be a high school sophomore this Fall in California. She has been studying harp under Ms. Sonya Yu for more than five years. She participated in various music competitions and won prizes in Yvonne LaMothe Schwager Competition, United States International Music Competition, International Youth Music Competition, Enkor International Music Competition and Great Composer Competition. Valarie is the harpist in California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra and also a member of the Silicon Valley Youth Harp Ensemble.
