William Wu, a sixth grader from Bellevue, Washington, he started to learn piano at the age of Six. William was one of the winners in Charleston Winter 2025 with his performance of Chopin Waltz. It was an extraordinary award to him and family, as by then he had been fighting a long time dreadful ear infection, which also made him challenged by social dynamics. After that competition, he took a couple of months break and paused playing piano. This “Colorful Cloud Chasing the Moon” is a balm for soul and he chose it as his first piece to practice after the recovery.
