Yee Ning Yap has been playing cello since age 11 and has since served as principal cellist in her school’s symphony and chamber orchestras. She has also been selected for many TMEA ensembles, serving as a member of the Region 25 Symphony Orchestra and All State Orchestra for the past two years. Besides playing the cello, she regularly volunteers her time for her community’s various fine arts activities and is an active member of her school’s Triple Music Honor Society.
