A Washington state native of Armenian and French descent, Yeva is nice years old and a 4th grade student at Sacred Heart School in the Greater Seattle area. She started playing the cello at age seven. Yeva is studying cello under Olga Ruvinov and is also a member of the Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra in Washington. Her interest in cello was sparked when she saw Sol Gabetta perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Curious, bubbly and independent, Yeva loves math, robotics, creative writing and track and field. She sings in her school choir and often accompanies her older sister’s lyrical solos with her cello.
