Yi Wu

Throughout my academic journey, performances have been a cornerstone of my experience. During my time at Longy School of Music of Bard College, I have played both in orchestra and chamber music. In solo aspect, I have held an individual concert at First Church Cambridge on November 6th, 2024. During the first year of graduate school at the University of Akron, I played a significant role in the Symphony Band as the principal flutist and the Orchestra, showcasing their talents through regular performances, including those for the 52nd Ohio Band Directors Conference. At the College of Wooster, I have independently selected, performed, and analyzed significant pieces from renowned composers: Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, and Herman Beeftink.
