My name is Yian Deng. I borned in Shanghai in 2007. I lived in Shanghai for 15 years and came to the United States two years ago. I started playing the piano when I was 4 years old, until now I have been playing the piano for 13 years. I won the Gold Award of the Liszt International Piano Competition 2019 in China. In 2021, I was awarded the piano Level 10 (The highest level )certificate by Shanghai Conservatory of Music. I have also been chosen as a third place winner of the American Protege International Piano Competition 2024. What I am most proud of in the past 13 years is that I have insisted on the piano without interruption, I play the piano almost every day. To this day, whenever I sit in front of the piano and play, I still feel relaxed and happy. My love for the piano has never changed in the past, and I believe it will never change in the future. My piano teacher is Steinway Artist Dr. Maxine Gong. It is my pleasure to have such a great teacher.
