Yuji Lee, a 17-year-old pianist from Korea currently living in the United States, began studying piano at the age of six under the guidance of Sunyoung Cho. Over the years, she has earned multiple awards, including the Music Teachers’ Association of California State Honors (2023), 3rd Place in the Sonata Contest (2023), Honorable Mentions (2024 and 2025), 1st Prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition (2026), and 1st Prize at the King’s Peak International Music Competition (2026). She has also achieved Certificates of Merit Level 3 (2023), Level 7 (2024), and Level 10 (2025) from the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Yuji performs regularly in both solo and chamber music concerts, emphasizing expressive phrasing and technical precision. She views every performance as an opportunity to convey the emotional depth and individuality of each piece. Additionally, Yuji participates in school and community recitals, sharing her love of classical music with diverse audiences.
