Zen Parris

Zen Parris began studying the violin at the age of five and has since developed a deep passion for performing. He has played in several youth orchestras across San Diego and is currently a member of the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra (MMYO). Zen has earned placements in both the All-State and District Honor Orchestras, reflecting his dedication and musical growth.

At age fourteen, Zen made his solo debut after winning First Prize in the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra Concerto Competition. He also won First Place in the MMYO Solo Competition and appeared on KUSI-TV for a music feature.

Zen is currently a freshman in high school and continues to pursue opportunities to grow as a performer, soloist, and leader within his musical community.
