
Zhuoxi Liu is a freshman at Skyline Middle School in Sammamish, WA. He has been studying piano since the age of six. In addition to piano, Zhuoxi has pursued formal music theory training and has completed multiple levels of RCM theory exams. He has earned first-class honors as well as distinction awards in RCM piano examinations at levels 3, 5, 7, and 8. Zhuoxi has also competed in various local and national competitions, including the Chopin NW Piano Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, and Junior MTNA in Washington State. Recently, he won the Gold Medal and Helen Belvin Scholarship Prize at the Chopin NW, and the Silver Medal at the Pacific International Piano Competition. Outside piano, Zhuoxi also plays the viola and enjoys playing tennis.
