I have been playing the flute since I was 11. With plenty of practice of trials and errors, I took and passed the ABRSM level 8 when I was 13. Besides this, I’ve won second place of the Gifted Youth USA Flute Competition when I was 13. I also auditioned for Golden State Youth Symphony (GSYO) in the 8th grade, first participating as a part of the Camerata, and rising into El Camino Wind Ensemble level next season, which I am still currently part of. I auditioned for my high school’s Wind Ensemble in my freshman year and has continued until the present. Outside of classes, I’ve participated in music clubs in school such as Tri-M Honor Society where groups of orchestra, choir, and band students have come together to recreate covers for Youtube videos or perform at senior homes. As of now, I’m in my eleventh grade and I’m still on my journey of furthering my passion and abilities as a musician.
