Hello, my name is Zlata Shtern, I am 15 years old. Ever since I was young, I have always been interested in anything involving music. Whether it was in real life or not, I was always attracted to anything music-related. At home, we used to have an old piano, and that was my number one toy to play with. I always enjoyed the sounds of the keys and the way the pedal changed a lot when pressed. From the age of three, I was signed up for dance classes, which I go to till this day. We do modern, cultural, and contemporary dance styles. At the age of six, I was signed up for piano classes with an amazing and professional teacher. She taught me all the basics and all the dos and don’ts. I attended multiple international competitions that gave me first and second places and attended musical festivals. This drew me into music even more, and it caused me to understand music better emotionally. I also find myself writing more often and putting my emotions not only into playing piano and listening to music, but also putting them into paper. Despite having hearing loss, music always came easily to me, and I will forever be grateful. Music and dance calm me down during the right moments. The right moment is now.
