Zoe Zhang (age 16) started learning piano when she was 6 years old. She followed the instruction of Ms. Huan Che until switching to her current teacher, Ms. Jenny Shin in 2020. She was awarded the State Honor in Certificate of Merit® (CM) Level 10 in 2023, and passed Panel with State Honor in 2024. She has won several awards in competitions based in California, including the Gold (2020) and Bronze (2023) medals in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival – Complete Work Audition, 1st place in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, 1st place in the MTAC Los Angeles Branch Music Scholarship Competition (2023), etc. Her favorite composers are J. S. Bach and Franz Liszt.
