Zoey Roychowdhury is a young pianist whose musical journey began at the age of six. From her earliest years at the keyboard, Zoey has been drawn to experimentation—exploring keys, shaping melodies, and discovering new sounds with a natural sense of curiosity and creativity. For her, the piano is more than an instrument; it is a place of refuge and self-expression, where emotion and imagination come together through music.
Zoey has performed in recitals at distinguished venues including Opera America Hall and Steinway Hall in New York City, experiences that have helped shape her confidence and stage presence. She currently serves as lead pianist in her middle school concerts, demonstrating both musical maturity and leadership among her peers.
Now in 7th grade, Zoey lives in Philadelphia and attends Friends Select School, where she continues to balance her academic life with a deep commitment to music. She studies piano under the guidance of Emily Ho and Silas Irvine, whose mentorship supports her continued growth as a thoughtful and expressive musician. As she continues to develop her skills at the piano, Zoey’s dedication, creativity, and love for the piano mark her as a young musician with a bright and evolving future.
