Jingwen Yang, a distinguished pianist and musician, has embarked on a remarkable musical journey guided by esteemed mentors such as Daniel Shapiro, Jeffrey Swann, and second-generation disciples of legends like Arthur Rubinstein and Maurizio Pollini, including Timothy Shafer. Under the mentorship of Steinway Artist Steven Mayer, she earned a Performance Certificate and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano.

Jingwen’s educational journey is adorned with prestigious accolades, including the coveted Sarah Manion Award for Excellence in Piano and triumphant victories in international competitions such as the Debussy International Music Competition, Georges Bizet International Music Competition, and UK International Music Competition.

As a passionate performer, Jingwen has graced stages across China, Europe, and the United States, delivering captivating solo piano and chamber recitals at renowned venues like Hamilton Recital Hall, David H. Stull Recital Hall, Klavierhaus Hall, and Teatro Curci. Her artistry reached new heights in 2024 when she received a distinguished invitation to showcase her talent at the iconic Carnegie Hall.

As Jingwen continues to evolve as a musician and artist, her unwavering passion for piano performance serves as an inspiration to audiences and fellow musicians alike, resonating profoundly with every note she plays.
