Kaitlyn Caroline DiFranco began studying classical piano at a young age. She views music as a universal language, and through the piano, she is able to express herself while sharing her passion with others. Her love of music extends beyond performance into community service. She regularly performs at retirement residences and serves as the Canadian Lead for Kits Beyond Sound, a youth-led initiative of young musicians dedicated to giving back to their communities by making sound and sensory learning more accessible for every child.
Kaitlyn studies advanced classical piano through The Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada) and has earned First Class Honours with Distinction in both piano performance and music theory examinations. She is also expanding her musical repertoire by learning the flute. Her dedication to excellence in music is also reflected in her academic achievements, where she has received many awards, including the prestigious Principal’s Award for achieving the highest overall academic average in her grade for multiple consecutive years.
Recognized for her musical accomplishments, Kaitlyn has been invited to perform at Rideau Hall, the official residence of the Governor General of Canada. She has also participated in the Ottawa Chamberfest Advanced Piano Master Class with internationally renowned pianist and Honens Laureate Illia Ovcharenko and was accepted into the Juilliard Summer Performing Arts Program in both 2025 and 2026, where she studied alongside distinguished Juilliard Artist Faculty.
