The Monthly Muselo Studio Champion recognizes the teacher whose students collectively earn the most Champion Points on Muselo during each competition period.
Competition Dates
For the August competition, Champion Points are earned from August 10 through August 31, 2026.
Everyone begins earning points when the competition starts.
How Students Earn Champion Points
Each connected student can earn Champion Points in the following ways:
- +1 point for each day in their longest practice streak during the competition period
- +2 points for each Daily Puzzle completed
- +5 points for each day they record at least 10 minutes of practice on Muselo (maximum once per day)
- +10 points for connecting with their teacher once
- +20 points for every piece section mastered through Muselo’s AI analysis
Practice streaks continue across months. Only the days within the current competition period count toward that month’s Champion Score.
How the Studio Score Is Calculated
A teacher’s Studio Champion Score is the combined total of Champion Points earned by their qualifying students during the competition period.
A student is considered a qualifying student if they:
- Are connected with the teacher on Muselo
- Earn at least 50 Champion Points during the competition period
Only points earned by qualifying students count toward the teacher’s Studio Champion Score.
How the Winner Is Chosen
To be eligible for the Monthly Muselo Studio Champion Award, a teacher must have at least 3 qualifying students.
Among eligible teachers, the teacher whose qualifying students earn the highest combined Champion Point total will be named the Monthly Muselo Studio Champion.
If no teacher has at least 3 qualifying students, no Studio Champion will be awarded for that competition period.
Studio Champion Prize
The winning teacher will receive:
- A custom large Muselo Studio Champion trophy
- Recognition as the official Monthly Muselo Studio Champion
- A feature on the CIMC website
- Promotion through CIMC social media
Fair Play
Muselo may review student activity, teacher connections, and Studio Champion Scores before confirming the winner. Inaccurate, artificial, duplicated, or manipulated activity may be excluded from the final score.
