At fifteen years old, Aashrita Banerjee has only been playing piano for four short years, yet music has quickly become an integral part of her life. In pursuit of her musical aspirations, she successfully completed the Royal Conservatory of Music practical exams for levels 3 and 4 during the pandemic and came away with first class honors on both exams. She has built up her repertoire by practicing and performing at local recitals and music festivals. Aashrita enjoys playing a diverse range of musical compositions, including pieces from romantic-era composers such as Beethoven and Burgmüller, and those from modern composers such as William Gillock.
