Adam Timney

Adam Timney is a 15-year-old musician from Temecula, California. He studies music, piano, and conducting with Maestro John Mario Di Costanzo, the conductor of the Temecula Valley Symphony. Adam plays the piano, violin, and cello in the local youth symphony, studying under Dr. Zun-Hin Woo, Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann, and Ruslan Biryukov. He also conducted the Faure Elegie for Cello and Orchestra with the Southland Symphony Orchestra. Adam enjoys playing chess, rock climbing, geocaching, hiking, and composing music. He is a sophomore at Great Oak High School, where he helps run the chess club. Adam is active in community services with the Temecula Youth Symphony and volunteers with groups that help the elderly. At school, Adam is a straight-A student and volunteers as a math tutor. Adam is passionate about sparking the joy of classical music to the wider public. He participates in the Redlands University and Idyllwild Arts Academy music programs.
