Adrian Kang’s passion for classical music ignited at the age of 8, leading him to discover a profound love for the clarinet. Under the expert mentorship of Dr. Claire Chung, Adrian has developed a remarkable proficiency with the instrument, captivating audiences with its rich and expressive sound.

Since his early start, Adrian has achieved significant milestones in his musical journey. Noteworthy performances include recitals at the Little Theatre at the College of Art in 2023 and Chamber Music OC in 2024, where his talent and dedication were on full display. In 2024, Adrian was honored to perform with the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and with the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) honor band at the Henry and René Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Adrian’s excellence has also been recognized in competitive settings, where he earned First place at both the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County (MACOC), the Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF), and the Young Soloist IMC. These accolades highlight his exceptional skill and commitment to his craft.

As Adrian continues to grow as a musician, he looks forward to new challenges and opportunities, eager to bring his passion and talent to a wider audience.
