formal classical piano training when he lived in Brooklyn NY. In addition to his Classical music, he explored other genres of music for 2 years such as Contemporary and Mandarin Pop. Alan’s chosen repertoire reflects his training in Classical music and represents his East Asian Heritage.

Alan’s musical talents go beyond the scope of piano, he is also a gifted singer and actor. He is the current Bass singer for the Watertown High School Acapella Choir. The musical delivered a powerful message about underrepresented working-class citizens in an urban setting.
