Alex Liu is 12 years old and he is a 6th grader at Sangster Elementary School, Springfield, Virginia. He has been studying piano for 5 years. His current piano teacher is Jason Ng. In the past, He won 2nd Prize – Charleston International 19th Century Music Competition in 2022 , 3rd place Charleston International 2024 Fall Music Competition and 2nd place NVMTA Piano Concerto Festival in 2021. And also, he won several awards with Great composers competition series. He has experiences on piano video recording. He loves the sound of piano and likes seeing his fingers dancing on the black and white keys.
Besides playing piano, he is a competitive foil fencer.
