Alex Liu

Alex Liu is 9 years old and he is a 4th grader at Sangster Elementary School, Springfield, Virginia. He has been studying piano for 3 years with Dr. Irina Yurkovskaya. He won 2nd Prize – Charleston International 19th Century Music Competition in 2022 and 2nd place NVMTA Piano Concerto Festival in 2021. And also, he won several awards with Great composers competition series. He has experiences on piano video recording and also he plays piano duet with his younger brother. He loves the sound of piano and likes seeing his fingers dancing on the black and white keys. Besides playing piano, he practices fencing and swimming.
