Alexander Francis is fifteen years old and lives in San Francisco. He has played piano since the age of six and began participating in competitions in 2022, when he placed 4th in the USOMC International competition in Oakland, CA. Between 2020-2023, he received First Class Honours (level 2-7) from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2023, he received the First Prize and the Golden Grand Prize with a full score in the international Golden Piano Talents Competition, Macedonia. This year, Alexander took 1st Prize and Special Award for Promising Pianist and 2nd Place in the Professional Discipline. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit with State Honors from the MTAC in 2024. Alexander also plays violin and was concertmaster in his junior high orchestra, plays piano in high school jazz ensemble, and regularly performs in a local senior center.
