Alexis Liakhovetski

Alexis is currently a tenth grader at Calabasas High School in Los Angeles. She has been taking piano lessons from Marina Gushansky since she was 5 years old. Alexis has participated annually in Certificate of Merit examinations and has been awarded State Honors and invited to perform at the convention. She has also garnered many prizes in various piano competitions.

Recently Alexis has won first place for the “Best Beethoven Performance” in the Great Composers International Music Competition. She was second prize winner for “Best Mozart Performance” as well as for “Best Haydn Performance” in the Great Composer Competition.
Other than piano, Alexis plays the cello and does competitive swimming. In her free time, Alexis loves to play piano duets and trios with her two younger sisters.
