Alice Yaran Hu

Alice Hu is 13 years old and is currently in the 7th grade at Abraham Lincoln Middle School from Gainesville, FL. She has been studying the flute since 4th grade. This year, Alice auditioned and was accepted into the Florida All-State Middle School Band. In addition, for the past two consecutive years, she has been accepted into the Alachua County Middle School Band. She has also received two superior ratings in Solo and Ensemble. Alice is currently in Lincoln Middle School’s Symphonic Band and her private flute teacher is Cynthia Martin.
