Allen Eugene Choi

Allen Choi lives in Northville, Michigan and is in tenth grade at Northville High school.
Allen currently studies violin with Kimberly Kennedy, Associate Concertmaster, from Detroit symphony orchestra.
Allen made his deput in Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie in NY in 2020, as a first prize winner from Golden classical music awards international competition. Afterward, he was nominated as one of the finalists of Ann Arbor Symphony Young Artist Competition. He was an alternate in 2020 MTNA Michigan Performance Competition for Junior String division and third place winner in MMTA 2021 Concerto Competition.
He performed in master classes with Eliot Heaton, Danielle Belen, and Andrew Jennings, and participated in the University of Michigan String Preparatory Academy, where he studied with Daniel Brier and Mallory Tabb.
He plays 1st violin in the Michigan Youth Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Youth Symphony Orchestra and is a member of Jarvit Quartet from Civic Youth Ensemble.
