Amanda Faith Nixon

Faith Nixon is a sophomore at BYU majoring in piano performance studying with Dr. Jared Pierce. Prior to college, she studied with Dr. Irene Peery-Fox for 11 years. Faith has soloed with the Utah Valley Symphony multiple times, Utah Philharmonic, Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra, and American Fork Symphony. As a 2nd Place Winner in the International American Protege Competition, she performed in Carnegie Hall at age 12. She won 1st place in the UMTA concerto competition at 9 years old and played in the assembly hall on Temple Square. Other 1st place wins include Encore Keyboard competition, Con Brio Competition, and the Salt Lake City Piano Competition. Faith has an established piano studio in Orem and in her free time loves to roller skate.
