Amber Lin

Amber Lin

Amber Lin is a 15-year-old student from Orange County, California. She is a passionate musician who began playing the piano at the age of 5, and currently studies with Dr. Judy Huang, who is the state chair for both MTAC and MTNA state competitions. She has worked with world-renowned musicians including Prof. Jura Margulis, Vitalli Gavrouc, and Prof. Craig Richey in master classes. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2019 and later was invited back in the same year. Amber has won top prizes in international and national competitions as well as local competitions such as American Protégé, Golden Classical Music Awards, AFAF, WPTA Finland IPC. She was invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall (London), the Mozarteum (Salzburg), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Lilian Voudouri Hall (Athens), and the Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles). Outside of her music study, Amber is a creative writer awarded the Gold Key from Scholastic Arts & Writing.
