Ammie Arora is a pianist and is currently 16 years old. She has been playing for 6 years.She is currently undergoing training under the guidance of Mr. Brian Silas in the domain of retro music. Additionally, she avails instruction from Professor Alan Fraser, enriching her knowledge in Western classical music. She independently studies classical compositions, seeking guidance from her professor thereafter.She’s also studying music theory. In pursuit of a comprehensive understanding of retro music, she diligently practices with the tabla, acquainting herself with various rhythmic patterns essential to this genre. She plays different genres like Pop,Western Classical, Rock, Retro, World Music which includes Korean songs,Spanish songs, the famous portugese song “La Lambada”,themes,carols,a few bhajans and a folk piece as well.
Her achievements are as follows:
1. India Book of Records- “Longest duration to play acoustic Piano by a pre-teen”- she played for 10 hours non stop on November 1st, 2020.
2. World Book for Records, London-“Youngest Retro Female Pianist” playing 51 retro songs. She was awarded by Mr. Udit Narayan, Mr.Sameer Anjaan and Mr. Osman Khan in an award ceremony held at Indore.
Her two piano covers of the songs “ Yeh Jeevan hai” and “Dost Dost Na raha” have been released by Saregama open stage on YouTube,Amazon prime music and Spotify.Two more songs, “chalo dildar chalo” and “Aajkal tere mere pyaar ke charche” have been added by Saregama Open stage.

She was also the finalist of the Appassionata International Music competition for Amateurs in 2021 and 2022 and one of the 6 pianists to be selected as finalists for the Junior Con Brio Piano Competition 2022.
• First performance in her teacher’s concert (Mr. Brian Silas)on 2nd of September,2022. She performed ‘Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh’. It was held at ITC Sheraton Saket which was attended by celebrities, sponsors,as well as the members of ITC.

• Solo performace of ‘Fantaisie-Impromptu’ and ‘Etude op10. No.12’ by chopin at her school DPS Dwarka in the inauguration ceremony of Inter National DPS Festival 2022 and 2023.
• she recently performed at the American Embassy School,New Delhi on 4th February 2024. She performed pop,classical,retro,rock and popular world music in English, Hindi,Spanish, Italian and Russian.
