Amy Qian, 6, lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her parents. She started her first piano lesson at five and fell in love with the instrument. Her parents soon discovered she has perfect pitch and decided to pursue the musical path further. Her current teacher is Ms. Cheryl Cao. She has performed solo, duet multiple times in recitals and is well received due to her dedication, warmness and perseverance. She has won 3rd prize in the Charleston 19th Century Music Competition 2023. Amy attends Harker School as a Kindergartener and she loves learning! Besides piano, she is in a competitive swimming club (multiple Pacific B time under age group 8), math competition club (Math Kangaroo National Rank 12 Level 1-2 even though at a younger age). She also enjoys reading, soccer and is also an enthusiast in Science and Spanish.
