
Angelina Dong is a tenth grader from Auburn, Alabama, who studies piano with Yien Wang. She brings passion and joy to her music and finds real fulfillment in both practicing and performing. Angelina has earned top honors in many prestigious competitions. In 2025, she was named First Place Winner of the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall that summer. She also won First Prize at the Gulf Coast Steinway Society IX Music Competition, leading to a Carnegie Hall performance in June 2024. Her Carnegie Hall debut was in 2019, when she received Second Place at the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition. In addition to piano, Angelina is an accomplished and award-winning vocalist. Outside of music, she enjoys dancing and playing tennis. She hopes to pursue a future as both a musician and a doctor.
