Anna Yueyi Zhai

Anna Zhai is a talented young pianist and rising second grader at Potomac Elementary School in Maryland. She began learning piano at the age of five and has been studying at Seasharp Music Studio for over two and a half years under the guidance of Ms. Vivian Kwok. Ms. Kwok has taught her important musical skills such as key touch, expression, and enjoyment of music. Anna’s musical talent was recognized when she won the First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize at the 2023 “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition, which allowed her to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in March 2024 only after one year of piano study.

Since then, Anna has continued to excel in her musical pursuits, winning First Prizes in several International Piano Competitions. These include the Rocky Mountain Music Competition Spring Season 2023, where she was invited to perform at Tribute Communities Recital Hall, Toronto, Canada. Also Triumph Music Festival Fall 2023, Anna played at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia and Vivo International Music Competition Spring 2024, where she performed at Merkin Hall, New York, and received a Special Presentation Cash Award as well. Additionally, Anna has achieved first prizes at local competitions such as the 2024 Spring and 2023 Fall Montgomery County Music Teacher’s Association Judged Recitals. Her accomplishments highlight her potential and dedication to music at a very young age.
