Annelise Ossi

Annelise Ossi is an eleventh-grade violinist under the instruction of Ms. Adelya Nartadjieva and Professor Melissa Barrett. She played in the First Coast Suzuki Players string ensemble from age 6 until 11 years old. Annelise then joined the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra’s (JSYO) Repertory Orchestra where she developed deep appreciation for music. After a year, she achieved Concertmaster for the season. She then advanced to the Philharmonic Orchestra where she has served as Assistant Concertmaster and Principal Second Violins. She was the Honorable Mention for this year’s Youth Artists Concerto Competition and was invited to play for the 2023 Jacksonville Symphony Gala annual fundraiser. Annelise has also been the winner of several international competitions with her last two first prizes earning her performances at Carnegie Hall.
Through music, Annelise has dedicated many years of service to the community, and has played the violin with her church organist and choir at Sunday Mass since the age of 7. Her other interests include Math, Science, Religion, and horseback riding.
