Antoine Artinello Howe

Antoine Artinello Howe

Throughout my life I have always been a dedicated individual. My lifelong dream is to be known as a bluegrass musician. I have performed locally such as performing at school held talent shows, and online music competitions. Music, means a lot to me as it plays a big part of my life. The bluegrass genre draws me in for the harmonies and the storytelling that is told in many bluegrass songs. As a bluegrass musician, the banjo was the first instrument I had ever heard. I learned by ear and started getting lessons when I was at an advanced level. When I first started, Earl Scruggs, also known as the 5-string banjo pioneer has inspired me and many others to learn the banjo using his 3-finger or “Scruggs Style” technique. Through practice and performances I have gotten lot’s of support from the ones I know and love. My parent’s, friends, and my teacher’s have all given their unwavering help to me. I extend my most sincere thanks to those who have aided me in my musical journey. I am honored to have performed in this Music Competition. Thank you.
