Antonio Plumer

Antonio Plumer is a versatile musician in all styles who is based in the Savannah/Hilton Head area. He grew up in Mt. Airy, MD. His father, Frank, started Antonio at age three on the piano. Since then, Antonio has studied with many music educators including Brian Ganz and Dr. Boris Slutsky from Peabody Conservatory, and renowned pianists Luis De Moura Castro from Brazil and Jazz pianist David Kane. Antonio has placed in many local and national competitions beginning at age 6, including the American Protege at Carnegie Hall in 2012 and the Washington D.C. Steinway Competition at the Kennedy Center. He holds a B.A. in Arts, Piano and minors in Psychology and Intelligence from The Catholic University of America, located in Washington, DC. He currently serves as a U.S. Marine and is stationed at MCRD Parris Island. Antonio regularly performs classical, jazz, ambient music, rock, blues, and soul music and accompanies soloists in the Broadway, opera, Christian/religious, and jazz styles. He resides in Port Royal, SC with his wife, Jana, and his Doberman puppy, named Zena.
